“My mission in life is to do what
I love and the rest comes naturally.....Real Estate has been a
passion of mine for the past 30 years buying, renovating and
selling 10 of my own homes throughout Fairfield and New Haven
counties. No matter where you are in the process..... I have
walked in your shoes.....Allow me to share my knowledge and help
you to find the shortest distance between two points!”
Penny and her husband met as children at the local ballroom
dance studio. They danced competitively for 13 years becoming
the US Ballroom Dancing Champions while still in high school.
She went on to become a Registered Nurse, later earning a BA
degree in English Language and Literature and he became a
plastic surgeon. Hard work and determination has been her mantra
in life and the foundation for successful careers in Critical
Care Nursing, Nursing Management, Motherhood and Real Estate.
She was Head Nurse of a 44 bed surgical unit with a team of 24
staff members and then a hospital supervisor in some of the
nation's most coveted medical centers, such as the Mass General
in Boston, Georgetown in Washington, DC and UCLA Medical Center
in Los Angeles. The strengths and characteristics which have
contributed to her stellar nursing career are the very same
strengths she feels have made for her success in the busy world
of Real Estate. She is grace under pressure, strong in her
ability to lead, affable with colleagues and clients , steady in
mind and steadfast in nature….a winning combination in life to
get any job done and done well.
Married for 30 years, Penny and Jim live in Greenfield Hill with
their two Shih Tzu, Sam and George, and are still dancing! They
are proud empty-nesters since their three children, Brooke, a
Yale graduate, Blake, a Middlebury College graduate and current
graduate student and Chloe, a student at the University of
Virginia are now pursuing their own goals.. Her children have
collectively attended Greens Farms Academy, Fairfield Country
Day School, Hamden Hall Country Day School, Ludlow High School,
Hopkins School and Kent School.

the above schools and Board Member of Hamden Hall Country Day
School. She is a former member of the Fairfield County Hunt Club
where she and her children rode, and the Saugatuck Rowing Club
where her daughter, an avid coxswain on the team, earned a US
silver medal. She is extremely knowledgeable about life in
Fairfield County and all that it has to offer and is looking
forward to sharing it with you.

Testimonials
Penny Lyons is an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped
us to sell our home when we relocated out-of-state two years ago
and she went above and beyond to help us make the house show
beautifully. She was diligent and hard working and a lot of fun
to work with. When we moved back to Connecticut this year, Penny
helped us find a wonderful home. Her honesty and ability to know
what suits her clients best, made our search efficient and
pleasant. We had a very short time to find a home, and Penny was
a miracle worker! Penny is a savvy negotiator and really knows
the market. It was comforting to know that we were in good hands
and that Penny was steadfastly representing our interests.
Penny's ability to get the "impossible" done was truly
impressive and her positive attitude made what could have been a
stressful experience a pleasure.
- and Amy Moskoff Weston, Ct "Penny Lyons is someone you
respect, trust and enjoy even more when the process of buying
and selling your house is completed."
- Anne Esse Fairfield, Ct
Penny Lyons was my agent as a first time home buyer. I knew what
I didn't want but didn't have much of an idea as to what I did
want. She selected several homes after listening to my "wish
list" of needs. The first home we walked into was it! She
immediately directed me to three mortgage specialists she felt
would be a good match. She worked tirelessly as a coordinator
throughout the entire process keeping open the lines of
communication between the sellers, attorneys and mortgage
specialist to bring the deal to an uneventful closure and to
make my first experience a positive and smooth one. Penny's
approach to my new home purchase consisted of more fervor and
conviction than I ever expected from a real estate agent. She
guided me through this process, calm in her approach and
representing my interests every step of the way. She was always
available to me no matter when I called or emailed, always
responding within minutes. Penny is consummate professional and
the agent I will always want to have in my corner.
